It also is really hard to get even coverage and harder to wash out, even on repeated shampoos. I'm not sure why it has such high ratings, unless all other products like this are worse.
And it's twice the price of most others. Will not buy again. I actually had to laugh when I tried this! It is rust colored! I ordered this product based on reviews. After I received the product I tried it on my roots and imagine my horror when the dark blonde came out black! My blonde hair now had a black streak down my part. I had to scrub it out. Great to use and gave good coverage for hiding my new grey growth underneath near roots.
I like the color from this product. It helps to cover up well, and is not messy. I usually spray and then go in and spread it out with my fingers. I like that it stays on the whole day without touchup. Payment will be taken every month. Where reviews refer to beauty products or supplements, results may vary from person to person.

It covered my roots but left my hair crunchy. I would not buy it again.
Of the gray root touch up products I have tried, this was by far the most effective and easiest to apply. I used to use the Wow Color powder you apply with a little brush, and while it mostly worked, it was pretty time-consuming and you really needed to make sure you covered each strand. The powder might be best for people who only have a tiny amount of gray they won't cover.
Another advantage of the spray is that this color really lasts until you wash it out, while the powder seemed to fade after a day. The only two downsides to this product are: one, as another reviewer mentioned, your hair is left feeling like you've applied a bit too much dry shampoo spray. And two, if I scratched my scalp, sometimes the spray got under my fingernails. Of course both of these side effects depend on how you apply the spray, and how much gray you want to cover. But if you're looking for a product to touch up gray roots, I recommend this one over any other I've tried that's on the market.
There's no scent, and the color I got-light brown-matched my hair really well. For reference, I have more ashy brown hair with lighter, warmer highlights. The spray didn't look weird at all, and blended beautifully with both colors. A couple of other reviews mentioned that the spray can spit a little bit around the nozzle, but I didn't have this issue as I applied the spray. After I had finished, I just took a tissue and quickly wiped the nozzle off without any problems.
I really want to love this product. I occasionally use, but don't see a huge difference. Maybe I'm not applying correctly? I have some gray at regrowth, and medium brown hair. Overall I like the convenience of the spray and it doesn't drip but it also doesn't cover stubborn grey hair. I have curly grey hairs around my temples and they are hard to cover even with semi-permanent color.
This manages to cover my roots without spraying my skin! It's awesome and easy to use! It is certainly smaller than I expected when I ordered it but it is worth the money.
This product is a lifeline for me.
